Average body weight lost at 72 weeks · SURMOUNT-5, a head-to-head clinical trial in adults with obesity without diabetes, published in the New England Journal of Medicine.
That is one reason RhodesMed generally prefers tirzepatide when it is medically appropriate for the patient.
Your clinician determines whether tirzepatide is appropriate for you and adjusts treatment based on your response, appetite, side effects, body composition, and goals.
Individual results vary. Published trial results involved the studied FDA-approved medications and doses and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of individual outcomes.

If a GLP-1 isn't right for you, isn't working well enough, or causes problems, your RhodesMed medical team reassesses the plan. GLP-1s are powerful, but they're not the only option in medical weight loss.
Certain health conditions may mean a GLP-1 is not the right choice, including pregnancy, a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer or MEN2, severe gastroparesis, or an allergy to tirzepatide or its ingredients. If treatment is not medically appropriate and medication has not been ordered, your program payment is refunded.
We don't just tell you to push through. Your medical team reviews what's happening and can slow the dose increase, adjust the dose, change medications, or stop treatment when medically appropriate.
We look at more than the number on the scale. Your response, appetite, dose, body composition, symptoms, and other health factors are reassessed so the plan can change when it needs to.
We don't keep repeating a plan that isn't working.
Your care changes when your needs change.
Your first 3 months are $149/month, billed as $447 prepaid. That includes tirzepatide when prescribed, free medication shipping, your initial clinician evaluation, prescription and dose management, monthly proactive follow-up, clinician visits when medically needed, ongoing messaging and support, body-composition and progress tracking, and exercise and nutrition resources.
No. Pricing is based on the dose prescribed for your upcoming 3-month treatment period, not how long you have been a patient. Your clinician determines the appropriate dose based on your medical needs and response to treatment.
Tirzepatide acts on two metabolic pathways, GIP and GLP-1, instead of GLP-1 alone. In SURMOUNT-5, a 72-week head-to-head clinical trial, patients on tirzepatide lost an average of 20.2% of body weight compared to 13.7% with semaglutide. Your clinician still determines whether tirzepatide is appropriate for you.
If your RhodesMed clinician determines that treatment through the program is not medically appropriate and medication has not been ordered, your program payment is refunded.
Your clinician reassesses your dose, appetite, side effects, body composition, and other factors that may be affecting your progress, rather than simply continuing the same prescription.
Yes. RhodesMed is clinician-led. A licensed clinician evaluates you before prescribing and stays involved through ongoing medical oversight and follow-up.
Not automatically. Your clinician orders labs when they are clinically appropriate for your safety or treatment, rather than as a routine requirement for every patient.
Treatment may include FDA-approved or compounded medications. Compounded medications are not FDA approved. RhodesMed works with a registered 503B outsourcing facility, which is subject to GMP standards and FDA inspection. Your clinician explains which applies to your treatment during your evaluation.
You are purchasing care in 3-month treatment periods. Before each new period begins, you decide whether to continue. Cancellation and refund details are governed by RhodesMed's financial policy, available at checkout and on our Patient Financial Policy page.
You complete the online intake, then a RhodesMed clinician reviews your history and goals. If tirzepatide is prescribed, your medication ships directly to you, typically arriving 2–3 days after your initial appointment.
No. If a GLP-1 like tirzepatide is not the right fit for you, we help you find the right tools to reach your weight goals. Medical care matters most when things are not going perfectly, and that includes finding the right treatment path for you.
