Terms of Use
Welcome to RhodesMed. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the RhodesMed website, including rhodesmed.com, related webpages, digital content, forms, communications, links, tools, and other online services that link to these Terms. They apply to all RhodesMed brands, including Sippa by RhodesMed, RhodesMed MEN, and RhodesMed Hair Restoration.
By accessing or using our website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the website.
These Terms cover website use and general digital interactions with RhodesMed. Additional terms, consents, notices, forms, or agreements may apply to patient intake, telehealth services, medical care, in person procedures, payment, prescription management, Healthie, or other patient services.
1. About RhodesMed
RhodesMed is a physician-led medical practice. We provide telehealth care for weight loss, hormone therapy, women's health, and men's health, and we provide Hair Restoration as an in person procedure in St. George, Utah.
RhodesMed currently serves eligible adult patients located in Utah.
RhodesMed uses Healthie as its electronic health record and patient management system for intake, scheduling, patient communications, consents, and related patient workflows. If you become a patient, your use of Healthie and your receipt of medical care may be subject to additional consents, notices, policies, and terms.
Care is provided by RhodesMed PLLC. Administrative services may be supported by 146 Holdings LLC.
2. Website Content Is Not Medical Advice
The content on our website is for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for personalized medical care from a licensed healthcare professional.
Website content may discuss weight loss, GLP-1 medications, hormone therapy, testosterone therapy, perimenopause, menopause, men's health, sexual health, sleep, energy, skin, hair loss, hair restoration, labs, or prescriptions. This information is general and may not apply to your individual health situation.
You should not rely on website content to make medical decisions. Always seek personalized medical advice from a qualified healthcare professional. See our Medical Disclaimer for more.
3. No Emergency Care
RhodesMed does not provide emergency care through this website, email, SMS or text messaging, Healthie messaging, telehealth visits, or any other non-emergency communication channel.
If this is an emergency
Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Do not use this website or any RhodesMed communication channel for urgent or emergency medical needs.
4. No Patient Relationship Created by Website Use
Using this website, reading website content, clicking “Get Started,” sending a general inquiry, signing up for emails, or interacting with advertising does not create a patient-provider relationship with RhodesMed, any RhodesMed brand, any clinician, or any medical advisor.
A patient-provider relationship is established only after appropriate intake, consent, clinical review, acceptance for care, and any other required steps are completed through the RhodesMed patient process.
RhodesMed may decline to provide care if your needs are outside our scope, if care is not clinically appropriate, if you are outside our service area, or for other lawful reasons.
5. Eligibility
The website and RhodesMed services are intended for adults only.
By using the website, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.
RhodesMed provides medical care only to eligible adult patients located in Utah. Telehealth availability depends on state licensure, clinical appropriateness, operational availability, and applicable law. Hair Restoration is performed in person in St. George, Utah.
You are responsible for providing accurate information about your identity, age, location, medical history, symptoms, medications, allergies, pregnancy status, and other information requested during intake or care.
6. Healthie and Third-Party Services
RhodesMed uses Healthie as its electronic health record and patient portal. You may be directed to Healthie to complete intake, scheduling, consents, patient communications, payment, or other patient-related steps.
You may also interact with other third-party services, including payment processors, labs, pharmacies, email platforms, SMS or text messaging providers, analytics tools, advertising platforms, or other operational tools.
We are not responsible for the availability, security, content, policies, or practices of third-party services that we do not control. Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
7. Intake, Clinical Review, and Care Decisions
Completing an intake form or requesting care does not guarantee that RhodesMed will provide treatment, prescribe medication, order labs, perform a procedure, or accept you as a patient.
All medical care, including hormone therapy, testosterone therapy, GLP-1 medications, metformin, treatment for erectile dysfunction, skin or hair prescriptions, sleep support, lab orders, hair restoration procedures, and pharmacy routing, depends on clinical appropriateness, your health history, applicable law, medical judgment, and available services.
RhodesMed does not guarantee specific outcomes, symptom improvement, weight loss results, hair growth, medication access, prescription approval, lab results, insurance reimbursement, pharmacy availability, or clinical eligibility. Not every patient is a candidate for every treatment.
8. Prescriptions, Labs, and Pharmacy
When clinically appropriate, RhodesMed may prescribe medications or order labs as part of care.
Prescriptions may be routed through a local pharmacy, insurance pharmacy, compounding pharmacy, cash pay pharmacy, or another available pharmacy pathway. Availability, pricing, fulfillment, shipping, timing, and insurance coverage may vary.
Labs may be ordered when clinically appropriate. Lab pricing, insurance coverage, cash pay options, billing, timing, and availability may vary by lab provider and patient situation. Labs are billed separately from your visit.
RhodesMed does not control third-party pharmacy or lab pricing, availability, processing times, insurance decisions, shipping delays, or pharmacy fulfillment decisions.
9. Compounded Medications
RhodesMed may prescribe compounded medications when clinically appropriate.
Compounded medications are not FDA approved. The Food and Drug Administration does not review a compounded preparation for safety, effectiveness, or manufacturing quality before it reaches you. This is true of every compounded medication in the United States, from every pharmacy.
Our compounding pharmacy is a registered 503B outsourcing facility, which is required to follow current good manufacturing practice standards and is inspected by the FDA on a risk-based schedule. That is a meaningful difference in quality assurance, and it is still not FDA approval.
Your clinician will discuss the risks, benefits, and alternatives with you before prescribing a compounded medication. See our Medical Disclaimer for more.
10. In Person Care and Procedures
Hair Restoration is an in person procedure line performed in St. George, Utah. It is not telehealth and requires an in person consultation and evaluation.
Hair Restoration may involve platelet rich fibrin, exosomes, stem cell derived products, topical or oral prescriptions, or other treatments, when clinically appropriate.
Platelet rich fibrin, exosome, and stem cell derived products are not FDA approved for the treatment of hair loss. No treatment offered by RhodesMed is a cure for hair loss or male or female pattern baldness. Not every patient is a candidate. Results vary and are not guaranteed.
Any procedure carries risk. Your clinician will discuss the risks, benefits, alternatives, and expected course of treatment with you, and you will be asked to provide informed consent before any procedure.
11. Payment and Billing
RhodesMed uses cash pay, visit based pricing. There is no required subscription and no monthly access fee. Pricing, included services, excluded services, refill policies, and payment terms may be described on our Pricing page, in Healthie, or in other patient-facing material.
Unless otherwise stated, labs, medications, pharmacy costs, shipping, procedures, and third-party services are billed separately from visit fees.
RhodesMed does not bill insurance directly. We provide an itemized superbill after every visit, which you may choose to submit to your insurer yourself. HSA or FSA funds may be used when eligible. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your plan, benefits, and insurer.
You are responsible for all fees, charges, and costs associated with services you choose to receive. See our Patient Financial Policy for more.
12. Communications, Email, and SMS or Text Messages
By providing your contact information, you agree that RhodesMed may contact you as described in our Privacy Policy and any applicable consents you provide.
Communications may include appointment-related messages, intake reminders, account or patient portal reminders, payment-related messages, patient care communications, refill or follow up reminders, service updates, and, if you sign up for them, email newsletters, educational content, and marketing emails.
Some communications may be sent through Healthie, our electronic health record and patient portal. These support your care and your account, and may include intake, scheduling, appointment reminders, portal notifications, care coordination, billing, and refill or follow up reminders. Other communications may be sent through email, website tools, or service providers we use to operate RhodesMed.
RhodesMed does not send marketing or promotional text messages. The only text messages we send relate to your care and your account.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. You may opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the email. You may opt out of text messages at any time by contacting [email protected].
Even if you opt out of marketing communications, RhodesMed may still send non-marketing messages related to appointments, intake, patient care, billing, account status, legal notices, safety-related matters, or other transactional or healthcare-related purposes. If you opt out of text messages entirely, you may stop receiving appointment reminders and other information you need for your care.
13. Privacy
Your use of the website is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
If you become a patient, medical information created, received, maintained, or transmitted in connection with your care may be protected health information under HIPAA and addressed in our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and our HIPAA obligations, our HIPAA obligations will control.
